It's been what, 8 months since I've updated this? Wow. So a lot has happened. The people I mentioned hanging out with at Otafest in my last journal? Well I ended up hanging out with one of girls, and eventually started dating in June. We've been together for 7 months, and it has been an amazing 7 months. Sadly she has to go live with her mom so she can finish school, which is on the other side of the country. We're going to make it work though. I went to Otafest here at the University of Calgary this weekend. It. Was. Awesome. It was my first time at an anime-con and I had the time of my life. Not only did I spend all my money, but I spent it on the most awesome stuff. 8 prints, all of them by dA artists, a Hatsune Miku plushie and a really big cloth Miku poster. I met an awesome group of people there on Saturday, whom I proceeded to hang out with for the rest of the weekend. So, as of April 28 I am now 18 years old. Up here in Canada, that means two things. Old enough to vote, and old enough to drink. I didn't actually have a party or anything, just went out to the bar with my parents and a couple other 30-50 year olds. One of which said she's getting me a Playboy for a present.
